Creedocide with Demetri Martin

A new pest control promises to get rid of rats the spiritual way. I joke on Christianity and Islam.

Religion has done more damage to mortals than any war or famine or plague. In the name of god(s)/goddess(es), armies have looted, plundered, raped, pillaged, murdered, and tortured. Thus we have the absurdity of the Druids demanding mortal sacrifice, the Incas, Aztecs, and other Southern American indigenous people pulling hearts out of bodies like the mythical Abraham was to knife out the heart of his son--a story that originated in ancient India where the pagan Habiru (later day Hebrews) remade Brahama into Abraham, Sheva into Sara so that their agricultural god (Yahweh) would rule supreme over the other gods (elohim--a plural noun in the Torah) while mating with the Canaanite goddess Asherah as his worshippers destroyed cities and put to the sword their people (Jericho). The early Christians were as bad, with two rival sects (separated by a single vowel: e) speared and stabbed those who did not agree until the pagan emperor Constantine decreed at Nicea that the communities of Christeanos and Christeaenos (coming from the Krishna of India) be as one. But neither the emerging Roman Catholic or Greek Orthodox churches were willing to let people think, and thus education (especially reading and writing) was restricted to the lazy few who became proto-mullahs and taliban (an Arabic word that means "theological student")--as priests, monks, nuns, etc--to feed off the laborers bounty until one or more dared to speak out against their superstition. Thus the Inquisition was born to pull out tongues, to hang, draw and quarter bodies, and worse. Led by Dominican and Franciscan friars, these miscreants were latter day saints (like the idiocy of LSD Mormons and their angel Moroni) who spoke religiously of Urban II at Claremont's call for a crusade to cut the throats of Jews, non-Roman Christians, Muslims and Zoroastrians in an effort to save the savage land of the one-time Hebrews who stole it from the Canaanites. But this is but a sampling, for the Mormons and evangelicals are arming to destroy the right of choice in California, while pagan Christians in Illinois and Texas are demanding their "rights" to multiple wives. Religion is a fraud.

I am pretty sure fighting for land and wealth has caused the most wars. You might want to give up your house and money in protest; I will reluctantly sacrifice and take these evil burdens off your hands.

Religion has always been based on wealth and power--as religion has always been the backbone of corrupt governments. Thus the pharoahs (a word that means Great House) like the Roman cesars all declared themselves to be gods/goddesses and gave to themselves palaces, gardens, slaves, and brutal amusements while the poor struggled to find food, or were lashed into nonvoluntary service to build temples and pyramids and other edifices for a few to live in. Most all wars have been waged in the name of fantasy and make-believe gods, from the Greeks calling on Vulcan, to Hitler with Gott mit Unus, to George W Bush and Sarah Palin and her "prayer warriors" declaring that crimes against humanity in Iraq and Afghanistan are commissioned by their gods--which are like the elohim (gods--plural not singular) of the Old Testament that invaded and destroyed not only cities (Jericho) but entire nations, and as the prophets Ezekiel and Isaiah recorded, ripped out "the fruit of the womn" (zygotes and fetuses) from women before they were butchered along with the elderly as their sons and daughters were either sold into slavery or became the prostitutes for military personnel who sought a place to sew their seed--regardless of what orifice they used. Religion has always been an evil, but ownership of property by all people has nothing to do with any deity. It is good for people to own homes and gardens, and improve those structures so they are more than mere symbols of attainment--but the houses should equal the need of the person or family occupying them. Otherwise the pretenses of John Calvin and John Knox who argued that wealth shows the favor of a god becomes once more the ontology and confession of those who made money like Madoff by theft and greed, or who like Keiko Fujimori in Peru and her gay brother and family went to USA universities after their father Alberto robbed the national treasury for their education before killing hundreds of teachers and their students. But the world will tolerate the evil that is in control, be it George W. Bush, Condi Rice, or Keiko Fujimori and her daughter and American husband--when people like this should be executed so that others do not suffer.
