By the Rivers of Babylon

In 586 B.C., exiled Israelites write down stories of Judah.

Kingdom of David: The Saga of the Israelites / By the Rivers of Babylon

"These was not any people. These was the people of the book. The people of Abraham the first to encounter the one true god. Of Moses the only human being to see God face to face and of David..."

The narrator is clearly not objective - and has forgotten everything about Enoch who walked with 300 years. I am pretty sure that imply seing god face to face.

When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. And after he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. Altogether, Enoch lived 365 years. Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

Genesis 5, 21-24.
