Richard French Live is joined by Scientology expert and Editor-in-Chief of the Village Voice, Tony Ortega. Scientology has often been the center of controversy most recently as a backdrop of the divorce between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Debbi Cook, former Clearwater Scientology leader, also recently settled a lawsuit after testifying that she and other workers were abused within the church. Ortega and the panel discuss the beliefs of the religion, treatment of members by its leaders and high profile celebrities who have defected from the church.
