Tracy spend her childhood living on the compounds of an isolated religious sect before finding freedom at age 18. Her journey took her through evangelical Christianity and years of questioning before she lost her faith and embraced skepticism and atheism.
She is now an advocate for the separation of church and state and for the rights of children in religious communities.
